NSFAS currently lists 08000 67327, info@nsfas.org.za, WhatsApp +27 63 093 5671 and USSD *120*67327# for general student help. Its official contact page lists the head office at The Halyard, 4 Christiaan Barnard Street, Cape Town. It does not list equivalent public walk-in NSFAS offices in Durban or Bloemfontein, so do not travel to an address copied from an unofficial directory; use the central channels or your institution’s financial-aid office first.
What to do
A safe route from question to action
Choose the right organisationUse NSFAS for the national funding account and decision. Use the university or TVET financial-aid office for registration, institution allowances, accommodation records or documents managed by that institution.
Start with a central channelCall 08000 67327, email info@nsfas.org.za, use the published WhatsApp number or sign in to myNSFAS. Never send a password or one-time code.
Check an office before travellingThe official contact page publishes a Cape Town head-office address. No Durban or Bloemfontein walk-in branch is listed there, so ask NSFAS to confirm an appointment or local service point first.
Keep the enquiry specificGive the application or case reference only through an official channel and say whether the problem is access, a decision, a missing document, a payment or an institution record.
